The South African Cricket Board have announced their 15-man squad for the World Test Championship (WTC). The WTC final will be played against Australia from June 11-15 at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Fast bowler Lungi Ngidi will be seen playing in the WTC Final after missing out on South Africa’s home summer series with a groin injury.

The right-arm Fast bowler Lungi Ngidi plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. He was a part of a series of white ball matches for South Africa and in T20 leagues, including the IPL.

Temba Bavuma (captain), Tony de Zorzi, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Corbin Bosch, Kyle Verreynne, David Bedingham, Tristan Stubbs, Ryan Rickelton, Wiaan Mulder, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj, Senuran Muthusamy, Dane Paterson.

The board has selected Ngidi to replace Youngster Kwena Maphaka, and the top-order batter Matthew Breetzke will miss the final WTC 2025.

BATTING ORDER

The Proteas batting will consist of Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton, Aiden Markram, rising star Tristan Stubbs, David Bedingham, and skipper Bavuma.

all-rounders

Wiaan Mulder and Marco Jansen are the all-rounders.
