Neymar has returned from a thigh injury for his boyhood club Santos on Thursday, May 22, 2025, and will continue his contract at the Brazilian side running until June 30. But his club was knocked out on penalties in the Copa do Brasil 2025. Neymar has faced a horrible run of injuries over the last few seasons, and last month, he left the pitch in tears after suffering his second significant injury of the year.

Due to his thigh injury, he was left out for more than a month. CRB fans jeered aggressively in the third round, second leg match.

Neymar has participated for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain side previously, He left the ground in tears last month after suffering his second significant injury of the year.

Santos is currently second bottom of the league, with lost six of their first nine matches of the 2025 season.
