Heroes Battlegrounds update (17 November) Patch Notes

Heroes Battlegrounds Game Creators have launched a brand-new update introducing new things, several improvements, and changes. Moreover, they have added various aspects including the new finisher for Slayer’s move and the new emotes in the game. Additions

Emotes

  • 25 new emotes
  • 2 new kill emotes

Halloween

  • The Halloween event has been removed (for now..).

Hero Slayer

  • Finisher added for Curdle Pierce.
  • Finisher added for Thousand Slashes.

Settings

  • PS+ and Settings now have a new menu.

Balancing Changes

Azure Flames

  • Azure Grab damage lowered.
  • Ember Assault is now slightly slower.
  • Decreased m1 damage after ember assault.
  • Infernal Burn is now blockable and doesn’t last forever.
  • Increased the less damage m1 time for azure grab tech.
  • If you dashpunch after azure grab tech, the damage will be 0.
  • Removed hyperarmor from ember eruption and if you block the first part of ember eruption, the second part comes out slower.

Symbol of Fear

  • Nerfed vanquish finisher %.
  • Scatter startup has a bigger hitbox.
  • Radio Blast has a bigger hitbox and longer move disable time, but less damage.

Combat Changes

  • Health on kill increased greatly.
  • Made anti-killstealing system less harsh.
  • All ultimate modes last for slightly longer.
  • If your killstreak is above 5 you have to wait 4 extra seconds to reset.
  • If your killstreak is above 10 you have to wait 7 extra seconds to reset.
  • If your killstreak is above 25 you have to wait 14 extra seconds to reset.
  • Side dash cooldown is now always 2 instead of sometimes being closer to 1.5.
  • If you are too close to the enemy when dash punching you will hit them away.
  • If you’re in combat, even if your health is max, you have to wait 2 extra seconds to reset.
  • Reverted backdash and frontdash shared cooldown, but backdash has a larger cooldown now.
  • All aerials have been reworked, different hitboxes with new SFX and some different animations.
  • All cutscene moves will pause your ultimate bar from going down until it’s over but not your enemies, except for Blazing Soul.

Green Hero

  • Manchester damage nerfed.
  • Manchester finisher % nerfed.
  • Green Hero passive is less effective in ranked.
  • Increased endlag if you miss Detroit (also aerial).
  • Endlag added for blocking Cosmis States of Smash.
  • Slight endlag added if you miss the final hit of Texas.

Hero Slayer

  • Decreased the amount of mode you get back by using indomitable will due to ult duration buff.
  • Removed extra health on kill for Hero Slayer since the one for everyone is now higher.

Warp Portal

  • Matter Absorption tiles make your punch the final punch if it hits someone.

Other Changes

  • Hopefully fixed dashpunch appearing to be really fast.
  • Hopefully fixed kingslayer badge sometimes not being awarded.
  • Whoever does the most damage to Namu now gets 2 free emotes, and 2nd place gets 1 free emote
