ENG vs WI ODI Series 2025: England has announced the names of its Playing XI for the first ODI against the West Indies. And, the first ODI will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Edgbaston in Birmingham. White-ball captain Harry Brook will be the captain of the side. Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett, while all-rounder Jacob Bethell will join the international duty after playing his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
All-rounder Brydon Carse is also included in the team after a toe injury and will join the pace attack, including Jamie Overton and Saqib Mahmood. Jofra Archer and Gus Atkinson have been given rest due to injury.
